  1. The ‘sprout’ of your greatness, what you do really well, is that pit in your stomach when you say to yourself “It is what it is..” and that inner voice inside you, that your hushing like a child who doesn’t know any better, who is crying “NO IT’S NOT!”

    Why would we do that?

“Education and creativity expert Sir Ken Robinson says that at the age of five, 98 percent of kids score at nearly a genius level for a quality called divergent thinking: the capacity to think “laterally” entirely outside of the box, to find creative answers to mundane problems. But it drops of precipitously as we advance from age five to grown-up — squelched by our education system he says, which tell kids. “There’s just one answer, at the end of the book, and don’t collaborate– that’s cheating.” There are millions more of us who are brilliant at thinking divergently but have been told we can’t, we shouldn’t. Entrepreneurs have just managed to hold on to more of that way of thinking that we all had when we were five-year-old inventors

It’s never been lost, it just needs to be exposed. It’s there whether your five or fifty-five. It just needs to be retapped, like an undepleted oil well..” ~ Schley, B (2013). The UnStoppables: Tapping Your Entrepreneurial Power. Hoboken, New Jersey: John Wiley & Sons, Inc

  2. That’s great advice from a distant age. We are at the cusp of a new real estate model that will favor those of us who embrace the virtual service model…communication and information from anywhere at any time. There are 6 billion mobile phones on the planet. Exploit that enormous reach.
